N Spezial English

“N Spezial” puts a focus on Russia, shedding light on some interesting aspects of interaction between Germany and Russia. The following articles make it evident amongst other things that relations between our two countries have a long tradition to look back on.

Following its latest phase of strong economic growth, Russia has developed (back) into one of Europe’s most attractive markets. Russia as an investment location (for projects in the fields of infrastructure and property development, for instance) is just as interesting to foreign and in particular German investors as the Russian consumer market is to German trade and industry.

Vice versa the German sales market is a magnet for businesses from Russia, particularly those trading in Russian commodities. Triggered by their country’s vigorous economic growth, Russian enterprises are now also increasingly investing abroad, and Germany is regarded as a particularly favourable business location.

Providing advice on doing business across borders is not simply a matter of clarifying legal issues; on the contrary, it is also frequently about overcoming particular intercultural obstacles. In the approach we have adopted of providing all-round advisory services, catering for the needs of each individual client also includes this delicate aspect of establishing successful business relations.

At Nachmann Rechtsanwälte, we provide advice both to German companies wanting to invest in Russia, and to Russian companies wanting to invest in Germany. At a personal level, we have also set up a Family Office that specialises in providing comprehensive advice to family businesses from Russia.
