As a member of our team, Mr. Alexander Strigin focuses here mainly on company law, insolvency law and financing law, advising clients in the fields of business restructuring and financial reorganisation, M&A, and investments and financing. For nearly 3 years, Mr. Strigin worked for a commercial bank from Eastern Europe in the investment banking and capital markets division, where his job was to structure financial solutions, syndicate loans and derivates. He then transferred to an international law firm advising various US majors. His work during this period centred on providing legal assistance with complex cross-border restructuring and refinancing measures, both under normal circumstances and during insolvency. At the same time he gained valuable experience with insolvency proceedings under German law as well as with Chapter 11 bankruptcy procedure. Another aspect of his work has been to advise on buying and selling businesses, and on acquiring assets during periods of financial crisis or after insolvency has actually hit.
